Dr. Jyotirmayee Dash is the founder and director of TeraLumen Solutions, India’s pioneering Terahertz Technology company established in 2019. She is a woman in STEM science and technology. She earned her PhD in photonics from CSIR CECRI Chennai where she contributed to setting up India’s first dedicated Terahertz lab. Her academic journey includes filing three patents, publishing over 30 papers in international journals and conference proceedings. The company has garnered support from prestigious government initiatives from the department of science and technology and from the department of biotechnology. Additionally, TeraLumen was a winner of the VISA innovation program which aids highquality startups through product development services and market access opportunities.
